Ingredients
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 1 cup* peas, drained
- 1/2 tsp salt, plus more for topping
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 3 cups dry rotini (half a 16 oz box)
- 4-8 slices of bread
- 4-6 Tbsp unsalted butter
Directions
- Preheat over to 375ยบ
- Cook pasta as directed on box, drain
- Mix soup, milk, salt, and pepper in large pot (can use same pot you cooked pasta in)
- Heat through over medium heat, stirring often
- Add tuna and peas, mix
- Add noodles, mix
- Transfer to 2-quart casserole dish
- Slice bread into four strips per slice. Arrange on top of casserole, covering entire dish.
- Melt butter and some salt (1/8 tsp per 4 Tbsp butter)
- Brush melted butter onto bread
- Bake 30 minutes or until toast is golden brown

*(1/2 15 oz can or 1 8 oz can)
You can one and a half OR double recipe for 3 quart casserole – bread topping will not be a straight conversion, use what is needed.
