BBQ Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • Pork loin roast*
  • about 1 cup BBQ sauce for each pound of meat

Directions

  1. Place loin in slow cooker, fatty side up
  2. Pour BBQ sauce over meat
  3. Turn on low and cook 6-8 hours**
  4. When meat is tender, shred using two forks
  5. Add more BBQ sauce, if desired, and stir
  6. Continue cooking on low for 30-60 minutes while you prepare the rest of the meal
  7. Stir well
  8. Serve on hamburger buns – about 1/4 cup meat per bun

Notes

*or pork butt roast, or any beef roast, or stew beef, or chicken breasts
**can raise temp and shortened time, but the lower and slower, the better. stew beef and chicken breast will cook faster.
