Ingredients
- 1 can mixed vegetables, drained
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 1 jar (12 oz) chicken gravy (Or, make your own… I do)
- Sage to taste*
- 1 cup Jiffy or Original Bisquick™ mix (Or, make your own… I do)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
Directions
- Heat oven to 375°.
- In medium saucepan, heat (or make) gravy. ***If making gravy, add sage, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/16 tsp pepper when browning the flour. If using a jar of gravy, add sage here***
- Add vegetables and prepared chicken, heat through, stirring frequently.
- In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until well blended.
- Spread chicken mixture into 2 qt. casserole dish.
- Pour batter over chicken mixture.
- Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

*I don’t measure this, but I would guess maybe 2 tsp to 1 Tbsp
