Ingredients
- 3 cups rotini pasta, dry
- 2.5 cups frozen broccoli (preferably baby broccoli)
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/3 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 5 oz cans chunked ham (or 1 1/3 cups equivalent)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 2 quart casserole dish.
- Boil pasta in large pot for 9-11 minutes, adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 min. of the pasta cooking time. Drain in colander.
- Rinse pot. Melt butter in large pot on medium-low heat. Stir in flour; cook and stir 2 min. or until smooth, bubbly, and fragrant. Gradually whisk in milk; bring to boil over medium heat, whisking constantly. Cook over medium-low heat 3 to 5 min. or until thickened, whisking constantly.
- Add cheeses; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until melted.
- Add ham to cheese sauce, stir. Add drained pasta and broccoli to cheese sauce, stir to coat.
- Spoon into prepared casserole dish. Bake 20 min. or until bubbly.
