Homemade Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, dry
  • 12 oz. Velveeta, cubed (3 blocks or 3/4 lb)
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

  1. In large pot, bring water to boil. Add macaroni and cook 10 minutes, or until noodles are tender. Drain.
  2. Place butter and cubed Velveeta in bottom of pot.
  3. Return macaroni to pot over cheese and butter.
  4. Turn heat to medium low and add milk.
  5. Cook and stir until butter and cheese are melted and creamy.
  6. You may need to add more milk as needed.
